Notice to Substitutes


If you find it necessary to cancel a job you have previously accepted, you must do so at least 12 hours prior to the start time of the job.

**ALL CANCELLATIONS THAT FALL WITHIN 12 HOURS, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SCHOOL DIRECTLY TO CANCEL**

Please be advised that every time a substitute teacher cancels a job, the Department of Human Resources as well as the schools receive notification of your cancellations. Excessive cancellations will result in you being placed on school exclusion lists or removal from the substitute call list. Cancelling one job to accept another is not acceptable. Once you make the commitment of accepting a job, we respectfully ask that you honor this assignment. Thank you for your commitment to the Weymouth Public Schools.
